Welcome to Week 1 of the Give Back to Your Body Challenge! I'm so excited to get started on this journey with you. Last week I shared how I've struggled with New Year's resolutions in the past. I normally start off January 1st with a list of lofty health goals like exercising 6x a week or cutting out all carbs (impossible btw!) only to find myself broken down and exhausted two weeks later.
Instead of the added pressure and guilt that normally surrounds new years resolutions, we're hosting a challenge that focuses strictly on ways to give back to YOU. Why? Because I believe that the path to major change starts by focusing on small habits that lead you to be happier and healthier. It builds a solid foundation that steadily moves you towards your more lofty goals.
Every Monday for the month of January, I will be providing you with a list of activities to try out each week. My challenge to you is to try out at least 5 every week. Take note of how these small activities give back to your body in a new and empowering way.
