Today is all about you Mamas!

Moms. Heroes. The backbone to every family. The person who does the work of twenty, for free. We see you. We appreciate you. We thank you. We love you. To all the mamas out there, today we celebrate and honor you!

We checked in with our SuperMom ambassadors to see what they're up to on Mother's Day, and have some #momtalk. Read what they have to say about their motherhood journey below!

Q: What's one thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a mom?

A: Enjoy a truly lazy day, because they don't exist as a parent!

Q: Biggest #momfail that still makes you laugh?

A: Getting the dates wrong on our daughter's theme day- she went to school dressed as Fancy Nancy and the theme day wasn't actually until the following week ...Oops!

Q: How would you describe your kiddos in a few words?

A: Olivia is emotionally intelligent, compassionate and silly; Max is all hype squad, outgoing, 100% Sagittarius!

Q: What are your Mother’s Day plans this year?

A: On Mother’s Day, I always find time to move my body, so I’m going to take a yoga class and then enjoy a picnic with my husband and girls. My husband (Hi, Brad) plans the menu (think charcuterie, fruits/veggies and of course a nice chilled bottle of white wine. Oh! And the other deal about Mother’s Day is that I don’t have to do any dishes!

Q: What's your favorite activity to do as a family?

A: I love going hiking and being out in nature. The kids love a good impromptu kickball game!

Q: How would you describe your kiddos in a few words?

A: My step sons are smart, funny, and incredibly creative young men - my girls are sweet, sensitive, and totally different from one another!

Q: What's your favorite Mother's Day memory?

A: On many Mother’s Days, we're working weddings. One of our bride's one year treated us to a really nice hotel to stay in after her wedding so we could wake up on mothers day and rest and relax. It was a great memory!

Q: If you had an extra hour to yourself today, how would you enjoy it?

A: Reading a book while soaking in a bath with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc.

Q: How would you describe your baby girl in a few words?

A: Sweet, curious, and beautiful.

Q: What's your favorite activity to do as a family?

A: It's a toss up between walking to the park and dance parties! We live in a city that has so many walking paths and parks and we just love to be outside in the fresh air and the sun. My daughter is obsessed with sticks, rocks, dirt, leaves, you name it, she collects it!

Q: What's one thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a mom?

A: That some parts of you will be changed forever and that's SO ok! You made a human, you are not meant to be the same as you were before! Breathe life into the new parts of yourself while they mesh with who you were before!"

Q: Do you have a Mother's Day family tradition?

A: Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast!!! It might be the best Mother’s Day hack! Easy breakfast for me and delicious for us all!

Q: How are you spending Mother's Day this year?

A: Hopefully I will be sipping wine and enjoying a picnic!

Q: What's your favorite artist or playlist to wake up to and boost your mood?

A: We listen to "Leon Bridges" station on Pandora to relax and slowly wake up, and we listen to a lot of modern country throughout the day!

Q: What's one thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a mom?

A: Honestly, it's hard to tell someone just how life changing it is. I wish we would have known exactly how frightening it can be to love something so much, and how hard it becomes to prioritize yourself and your free time (and finding out what exactly you want to do with the limited time you have alone!).

Q: How are you spending Mother's Day this year?

A: This will be my very first Mother's day and I'll be spending it by relaxing! I plan on eating all my favorite foods and taking a long nap!

Q: If you had an extra hour to yourself today, how would you enjoy it?

A: As a new mom, the answer is always sleep!

Q: What's one thing you wish someone had told you before becoming a mom?

A: The sleep deprivation is one of the hardest things to endure - and it's ok to not love the newborn stage.

We wish you a happy Mother's Day filled with love and laughter!

Xoxo, Team Après
