Sugar Cookie Protein Smoothie🎄

Hands up if you can drink smoothies in any weather. 🙋‍♀️ Because honestly, same! And while we love a good fruity smoothie after a workout in the summer, we can’t help but dive into those seasonal flavors in the winter. 

Enter: the best Christmas smoothie you’ll ever drink. We partnered with @life_with_kaitlin to create a recipe your taste buds won't forget!

 

Here’s what you gotta do to make a healthy, delicious sugar cookie smoothie:

Ingredients

  • ½ a frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen zucchini (peeled, sliced, steamed, then frozen, for better digestion!)
  • 1-2 scoop(s) Après Vanilla Bean protein powder
  • 1 Tbsp raw cashew butter
  • 1 Tbsp Acacia fiber (or chia/flax seed)
  • ¼ cup dairy free milk
  • 1 cup water
  • ⅛ Tsp vanilla extract & almond extract

Direction

  1. Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender
  2. Hot tip: Want it thicker? Add in more zucchini and avoid adding ice or it’ll melt all over (which may or may not have happened in the video below)
  3. Blend until smooth (you’ll probably need to use the tamper to push it down)
  4. If you’re feeling extra festive, top it up with some whipped coconut cream and sprinkles
  5. Enjoy ✨
