Bodyweight Workout with Après Co-Founder Darby Jackson

Welcome to Day 1 of the 14 Day Challenge! For those of you that don't know me, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Darby Jackson and I'm a Co-Founder here at Après. Pre-Après, I was a Personal Trainer and Health Coach so fitness, health and overall wellness are a big part of my life. I'm also Celiac, so no gluten here, played Division 1 Water Polo in college for UC Berkeley and am a fluent Spanish speaker! I also recently moved to LA from San Francisco (along with most of Team Après!), love swimming in the ocean and you'll never find me without a couple of crystals in my purse for good energy. 

Now that you've gotten to know me a little bit better, I'd like to take you through one of my favorite bodyweight workouts. It's a tough one, so prepare to get sweaty and push yourself, but I promise you'll feel great afterwards. Enjoy! 

45 Minute Bodyweight Workout
Warmup: Start with a 5 minute warmup jog. Run around your block, hop on a treadmill, or if you can't go outside, try jumping jacks. 
Circuit #1: Do each exercise for 30 seconds and complete the entire round 4x
Squats
Squat jumps
Plank
Pushups
Lunges

Jump Lunges

Spider

Runner

Rest 1 minute
Circuit #2: Complete 5 rounds with a 1 minute break between each round 
10 burpees

10 plank to push ups (5 each side)

10 leaf frogs
Circuit #3: This is what I like to call a cardio finisher. It's really hard but worth it! 
Sprint for 30 seconds and then rest for 30 seconds. Complete 5 times.

50 min. 5:30 am 24 hour fitness class…with julie minekime is my usual M W F go to.. you look great girly!
