Protein-packed waffles dripping with almond butter, fresh fruit and honey. Need we say more? This recipe makes four waffles AKA two servings, but you know, we ate the whole thing in one sitting. Enjoy!
3 eggs (or 3 flax eggs) - for flax eggs you need 1 TBS of flaxseed meal, 2 1/2 TBS water
1/4 cup Sea Salt Chocolate Après (add more if needed)
1 + 3/4 cup of almond flour
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Stir together and then pour batter in to a waffle maker that has been greased with coconut oil.
Cook for 2-3 minutes (depends on how strong your waffle maker is)
Top with fresh fruit, almond butter and anything else that sounds delicious.
Makes 2 servings (3-4 waffles) although we'd eat them all ourselves :)
